What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter position at Salina Regional Health Center?
The Talent Acquisition Specialist "Recruiter" performs duties that support the recruitment and onboarding functions of the Human Resources Department. They are an advisor and strategic partner to our hiring managers and healthcare leadership regarding recruitment and retention efforts. They conduct candidate sourcing and applicant screening, design and implement recruitment strategy, interview candidates, negotiate offers with candidates, and assist with the onboarding of new employees. They also assist in career development initiatives such as building relationships with schools to build our pipeline of students and collaborating on development of internship programs. The ultimate goal is to improve outcomes for filling open positions while ensuring fair and equal treatment of applicant and employees in the employment process.
· Must possess a Bachelor's Degree or be enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution
· One or more years' experience in recruitment and/or Human Resources role
· Knowledge of healthcare preferred
· PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CSP, CHHR, or related Human Resource or Recruitment certification preferred
