Description
The inside sales representative will work cooperatively with our team to manage customer accounts, grow existing customer opportunities, create new customer accounts, and exceed customer satisfaction expectations. Knowledge in the purchase and sale of steel, aluminum and stainless steel preferred.
Qualifications
Any of the Following Essential Duties could be performed within a normal shift:
Priorities:
a. Take information for quoting or ordering from customers by phone, fax, e-mail or in person
b. Enter information in computer for quote or order and get it back to the customer
c. Go out and source and acquire in special materials that customers might need that we no not stock from other venders.
d. Answer the phones and if need, transfer the call to the person required.
e. Make out going calls to customers and see if they may require material on the next truck delivery.
f. After the order is entered and printed, getting the paperwork out in a timely and correct manner so the warehouse can get pulled and staged for delivery.
g. Take care of problems that customers might have with orders or materials, or get the correct people involved as required. (Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager, or Warehouse Manager.
h. Communication in and out of the office and Customer Service is crucial
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Related Experience
Inside Sales experience helpful.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
Proven oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic
Independent working and decisions making skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of the product offering
Ability to demonstrate sales process
Able to work as a team player
