Position Summary:
The PACS Systems Analyst serves as the primary support for the PACS system, various MediTech modules and related system applications. This position performs analysis functions required to support new computer applications as well as reviews and analyzes existing applications to ensure output, efficiency and effectiveness meets or exceeds user satisfaction. This position assists in the implementation, development and maintenance of PACS and the Voice Recognition systems as well as performs user maintenance, support and training for the Medical Imaging department, Radiologists, Cardiologists, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree or High School diploma/GED along with equivalent work experience - Required
- Bachelors degree, preferably in MIS is - Preferred.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- 1 year experience with clinical/PACS systems support - Required. Hospital experience - Preferred.
