Job Summary
Salisbury Academy is seeking candidates for the job of Kindergarten- 2nd grade Spanish teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will include 5 hours a week of teaching and planning.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3-5 years of experience working in a school or with students.
· Understanding of ACTFL proficiency standards.
· Fluency and expertise in conversational and written Spanish
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in child development and educational practices.

Salisbury Academy seeks a passionate, energetic, and creative individual to join our team as the Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Spanish Teacher. We are looking for an educator who is knowledgeable about the cognitive and social-emotional development of young children and possesses a strong understanding of Spanish language and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage students in the interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational modes of communication in Spanish, with a focus on real-life contexts.
- Foster an enthusiasm for the Spanish language and culture.
- Utilize technology to support instruction and assessment as appropriate.
- Exhibit a genuine love of working with children in the Kindergarten through 4th-grade age group.
- Implement strong classroom management skills, ensuring a safe and civil learning environment.
