Small, neighborhood oriented practice in search of experienced or willing to learn eye care assistant. We provide a unique, interactive, and highly personalized approach to patient care.
Our patients expect fast, friendly service and attention to detail when undergoing an exam. Established in 2016, our office continues to grow rapidly.
Responsibilities and Duties
Essential duties and qualifications include:
- Complete patient work-up in practice management system.
- Perform point-of-care testing.
- Greet patients when they arrive at the office and provide them with any necessary paperwork or other information.
- Commitment to creating exceptional experiences.
- Clear and careful communication.
- Answer multi-line phone system to schedule patient appointments and confirm appointments.
- Ability to be cross-trained in other office roles such as front desk and optical.
- Verify insurance coverage when needed.
- Collect co-pays and other fees required for the office visit and insurance billing.
- Complete CPO certification within 12 months of hire if desired.
- Drug-Free workplace, applicants must be willing to submit to drug screen.
