What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center Support Staff position at Salisbury Family Center?
Summary
Salisbury Family Center is now hiring a Support staff to work in our newly licensed program located in Salisbury, just off route 7. Our school currently holds a 1 Star rating, but will be applying for our second star, and is a specialized care provider, along with being newly S.E.E.D certified. Salisbury Family Center is newly opened as of August 12 2024.
Our center has 4 classrooms, and 18 children enrolled. This position is for a support staff to help cover staff planning time and breaks, as well as filling in for teachers when out, and working with our after school program. We are looking for a start date is immediate or as soon as possible. Children's ages range from 5 months - 11 years old. We are seeking patient, compassionate, and experienced professionals to support this group of young learners. Our classroom have smaller ratios to help ensure all children receive quality care, and prevent teacher burn out.

Ideally Applicants will have at least one year of experience working with children, and at least 3 college credits in a related field (psychology, sociology, education, or social work). Associate's degree in early education definitely a plus, but not required.
