As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and on time while ensuring excellent customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining a high level of punctuality.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route driving or courier services is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during loading and unloading tasks.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
