The Department of Accounting & Legal Studies at Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, Salisbury Maryland, is accepting applications for an instructor to start either Spring or Fall 2025 Semester. This is a part-time non-tenure track position.
Primary Job Duties: Teaching Legal Environment of Business – ACCT 248. This three-credit course consists of an in-depth analysis of legal principles and their relationship to commerce. Topics include areas of torts, constitutional law, contracts and government regulation. The incumbent should utilize effective teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree directly related to the discipline. The incumbent should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills and the Ability to incorporate technology in the classroom.
Preferred Qualifications:
- J.D. or other law-related doctoral degree.
- Expertise and relevant professional experience in business law.
- Previous experience providing instruction in an academic or corporate setting.
- Computer proficiency and experience using a learning management system (e.g., Blackboard).
