Job Summary
Operates emergency telephones and dispatches calls to police officers via two-way radios. Monitors alarm and security systems and closed-circuit TV. Maintains radio, key and alarm logs: records calls by entering data into an automated records management system

This position is non-supervisory
Required/Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D.,2 years clerical or other related experience, basic computer and keyboarding skills, effective communication skills both orally and written, capability to prioritize, summarize and relay information orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions; to write legibly; to monitor multiple radio frequencies.
Preferred Qualifications
Police/emergency communications experience, Meters/NCIC certification

The position is a Contingent II, (full-time), (non-exempt) position.
