The Finance internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with financial analysis, planning and reporting in a professional environment. The intern position is responsible for assigned finance projects and rotate among the various Finance Organizations in a fast-paced team environment. The internship will have a hybrid work arrangement and will be required to join us at the Support Center in Denton, Texas on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. A Final presentation to senior leadership (topic TBD) will be required at the end of internship.

Primary Duties :
- Each finance intern will partner with an experienced finance leader who will serve as a mentor to guide how we conduct business and how tasks are completed.
- Interns will be assigned several projects giving exposure to different areas of corporate finance including segment financial analysis, accounting operations, corporate FP&A, treasury and investor relations
- Specific projects can include process mapping to discover opportunities for efficiency, building financial models to support analysis and / or forecasting efforts, or comparing financial performance to key competitors
- Partners with project manager in specific finance area to complete each assigned project
- Communicates with business partners throughout the organization as needed
- Each intern will give an end-of-summer presentation to Sally executives on one of their projects

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing of tall ladders; lifting heavy objects over pounds, crouching or crawling or strenuous physical exertion.
