Overview
Succeeding in this position requires a combination of skills, qualifications, and experience. As Creative Director for Sally Beauty, you will lead the creative campaign team to deliver high-quality projects across various touchpoints.
This critical leadership role guides the design team in partnership with copy team to ensure brand consistency across all channels and executions. You will contribute to strategy, concept, production, photo, video, and content productions, while driving the voice of the brand to create clear and compelling customer messages.
In addition to leading marketing initiatives, you will work cross-functionally with merchandising and store operations teams to create the brand experience.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your creativity and strategic thinking to develop and execute brand campaigns across digital and environmental design.
- Collaborate with external creative partners and agencies to bring marketing campaigns to life.
- Lead, mentor, advise, and oversee the internal creative team to ensure high-quality work that meets project objectives and brand requirements.
- Develop new concepts and contribute to business initiatives and special projects.
- Partner with Project Management team, executive management, and cross-functional partners to ensure creative collaboration and project delivery on time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Communication, Advertising, or related field with a strong design portfolio.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Designer.
- At least 5 years of experience leading and building a team effectively.
- Experience in mass, traditional, digital, social, and e-commerce channels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build solid working partnerships across functional groups.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, MAC OS, and AutoCad.
