Sallyz Center For Autism is dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Occupational Therapy to children and families. Position Overview: The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our center(located at 1645 Ellington Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074), ensuring smooth functioning across various departments. This role combines operational management, HR responsibilities, marketing coordination, and fostering a positive work culture. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Office Manager will play a key role in supporting staff, overseeing the maintenance of the center, and ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment for clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Coordinate and supervise the scheduling team to ensure efficient staff coverage and client session scheduling.
- Monitor and manage the center’s supplies, ensuring the availability of materials needed for therapy sessions and office operations(Through collaboration with the Administrative Assistant and Clinical Team)
Human Resources:
- Monitor staff punches, attendance, and timesheets to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Address attendance issues, tardiness, and other performance-related concerns; implement disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Work closely with the Executive Director to maintain employee records and enforce HR policies(including regular updates to employee handbook to align with company policies).
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff as needed.
- Timely and professional communication with the team
- Extend collaboration with other businesses to establish partnerships for staff benefits(e.g. Local colleges, etc).
Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with the clinical team to promote the center’s services, increase client referrals, and boost community involvement and awareness.
- Represent the center at community events and outreach initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, social media campaigns, and other promotional activities.
Culture & Leadership:
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
- Act as a liaison between staff and leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational goals.
- Work with the Training Coordinator and Executive Director to plan and coordinate team-building activities, staff meetings, and events to promote engagement and collaboration.
Qualifications and Skill Set:
- Master’s Degree Preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in operations, office management, or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or ABA setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Strong initiative and collaborative skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of HR practices and compliance is a plus.
- Marketing experience is a bonus.
