Position Overview:
Salmon Creek Post Acute and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, organized, and service-oriented Concierge to provide an exceptional first impression for our residents, families, and visitors. As the Concierge, you will be the face of our facility, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment while providing assistance and information to all guests. This role plays a vital part in creating a positive experience for everyone who enters our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Relations: Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism. Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and assistance.
- Resident Support: Assist residents with non-clinical needs, such as scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and providing information about facility services.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing calls or messages to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Facility Coordination: Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner. Manage visitor sign-in processes and ensure adherence to facility policies.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with clerical tasks, such as data entry, scheduling, or maintaining records. Provide support for facility events and activities as needed.
- Safety and Security: Monitor the lobby and reception area to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and guests. Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality or healthcare is a plus.
- Prior experience in a customer service or concierge role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using basic office equipment and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
