Responsibilities

• Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to understand the project thoroughly
• Determine factors of production that will influence the cost of a service or product
• Prepare material and cost estimates for the product or service
• Create labor estimates
• Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
• Manage bids from vendors and contractors
• Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis
• Present prepared estimates to management
• Compile and record actual costs

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience estimating costs in a relevant industry
• Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strategic planning skills
• Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects
• Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Expirance with SAGE Master Builder a Plus
