Job Summary : In partnership with the Regional Sales Director, Store Market Leaders are responsible for leading a group of SSG stores to grow sales and achieve KPI benchmarks through regular support, communication, coaching, and development. Market Leaders develop and maintain an exceptionally trained home store team that can operate autonomously, allowing for regular travel to the stores under their leadership. A strong emphasis is placed on leading by example, accompanied with a servant mentality to :
- Lead and Develop the Store Team
Effectively manage time to ensure focus is centered on supporting the store market.
Attract, hire, retain, and develop a team that is driven and goal oriented.Foster a culture that encourages and rewards growth from within.Mentor Store Managers through regular coaching.Provide ongoing development opportunities that strengthen leadership skills for the Store Manager team.Stimulate a fun, challenging, and rewarding environment.Drive Sales Performance and BusinessWith clear, concise communication and follow-up.
Analyze sales performance and initiate strategies to motivate and achieve success.Reinforce daily planning habits to grow salesmanship strength.Support the Regional Sales Director to increase revenue through strong partnership with the outside sales team.Maintain Standards of ExcellenceReinforce exceptional store experiences, built on strong partnerships through purposeful conversations.
Maintain a high visual standard of merchandising display techniques and well-kept store environments.Regularly visit stores and identify / report areas for improvement. Follow up to ensure progress.Manage and execute regular store inventories.Lead by example, serving as the role model in all aspects and functions of the business including personal conduct, appearance, and attendance.Working for SSG will provide you with :

Who you are :
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience supervising multiple direct reports.You have a proven track record of team growth and developmentPrevious multi-unit management experience is requiredYou have a background in the beauty industryYou possess an entrepreneurial mindset and clear-thinking skillsYou’re a confident leader and decision-makerYou possess solid financial analysis skillsYou’re organized and enjoy managing multiple projects at the same timeYou’re willing to be “hands on” and lead by exampleYou have a proven track record of job stability / tenureYou’re successful at building and maintaining relationshipsYou have the ability to travelThis position will require regular market travel by car and can include overnight visits up to 50% of the time.
