Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations.
• Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for special events or catering functions.
• Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and food safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in bartending techniques with knowledge of various drink recipes.
• Experience in the food industry, particularly within restaurants or catering environments.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A background in hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
