Warehouse Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The warehouse manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets. Will need to be a able to multitask effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits.

Description of Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service

• Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work

to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime

• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.

• Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.

• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general

maintenance when necessary

• Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop

actionable plans for loss prevention

• Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages

• Hire, select, train, coach and motivate employees

• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.

• Ensuring the safety of staff.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

•Associate degree or equivalent required

• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration a plus

• Proficient in using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.

• License to operate a forklift

• Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.

Work Experience:

• 5 years of warehouse management experience.

• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures

Job Skills

• Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies

• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.

• Valid drivers' license.

• Ability to operate forklift effectively.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong people skills.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities

• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff

• Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal

Environmental Requirements

• Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time

• Squatting, twisting, bending, and lifting between 10-50 lbs. (or more) regularly

• Lifting heavy objects from shelves or out of trucks

• Physically agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.

• Perform a variety of warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
