Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 Years of Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a professional bakery or restaurant kitchen, preferably assisting with the preparation of pastries, cakes, or desserts.
- Culinary School Degree: A degree or formal training from a culinary school is a plus but not required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required for all candidates.
- Tiered Cake Work Experience: Experience in assembling, frosting, and stacking tiered wedding cakes.
- Basic Pastry Techniques: Familiarity with making doughs, batters, icings, creams, and other pastry components.
- Baking Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency with ovens, mixers, food processors, pastry bags, scales, and other baking equipment.
