Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive pediatric dental care including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and restorative procedures
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
- Provide preventive and education-based care, including proper oral hygiene instruction to patients and parents
- Work collaboratively with orthodontists and staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Use child-friendly, compassionate techniques to ensure a positive dental experience
- Perform behavior management strategies to help ease dental anxiety in young patients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest pediatric dental advancements and technologies
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Job Requirements:
- DMD/DDS degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry
- Active state dental license in New Jersey (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and parents
- Passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Willingness to travel between three locations (Washington Township, Galloway, Vineland)
