Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on golf course equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any equipment malfunctions or potential issues
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance
- Collaborate with the golf course management and other staff in identifying equipment needs and evaluating new machinery options
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older with 1 -3 years previous experience
- Valid driver's license required
- Availability as early as 5am on days with golf outings or high volume tee times
- Ability to work weekends or holidays when needed
- Strong knowledge of golf course maintenance equipment, including small engines, irrigation systems, and mowers
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing issues with electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ability to work independently
- Able to carry/lift up to 25 lbs on a daily basis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
