Salt Fork Lodge is seeking an experienced and motivated Marina Manager to oversee and manage all operations at the Salt Fork Sugartree Marina and Salt Fork Marina. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest service, and revenue growth across multiple areas, including retail sales, boat rentals, fuel sales, transient and seasonal slip reservations, and restaurant and liquor sales at Sugartree Marina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, hospitality, and/or marina operations.

Responsibilities:

Retail Operations (Marina Stores)
- Manage daily operations of the Salt Fork Lodge marina retail locations.
- Oversee product selection, inventory management, and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure accurate pricing, promotions, and marketing of retail and bait/marine supply products.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to maximize revenue.

Marina Operations (Sugartree Marina & Salt Fork Marina)
- Oversee boat, kayak, and canoe rentals and reservations to ensure efficient scheduling and customer satisfaction.
- Manage transient and seasonal slip reservations, coordinating with guests for availability and logistics.
- Ensure proper handling and sale of fuel at both marina locations, maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee liquor sales at Sugartree Marina, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and licensing requirements.
- Supervise the restaurant operations at Sugartree Marina, ensuring quality service, staffing, and food and beverage inventory management.
Both positions require:
- Customer Service & Guest Relations to include maintaining customer satisfaction, handle guest inquiries & concerns and develop policies to enhance this area.
- Financial & Administrative Duties to implement loss prevention strategies and proper cash handling while working to develop promotional strategies.
- Staff Management & Training including recruit, train, supervise and coach both marina and retail operations. Create work schedules, manage labor and conduct performance evaluations for the team.
- Maintenance & Compliance to ensure all marina and retail facilities are well maintained, clean and meet safety standards while also enforcing compliance with retail, fuel, liquor and marina operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years of experience in retail management, marina operations, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of retail sales, inventory management, and merchandising best practices.
- Experience with boat rentals, marina services, and fuel sales is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in POS systems, reservation software, and basic financial reporting.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
- BUSTR certified (have or be willing to earn)
- Class A and B UST Operator Certification (have or be willing to earn)
- ServSafe Manager
- TIPS Trained
