About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Hotel Greystone. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and positioning Hotel Greystone as the premier boutique hotel in Miami Beach. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive salary, along with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
What You Will Do:
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to implement sales strategies that maximize revenue across the following segments: group (10 rooms and less), corporate, and consortia.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, travel agents, event planners, and corporate accounts to drive repeat business and customer loyalty to include off-site visits and on property site tours.
- Revenue Generation: Identify and secure new business opportunities, ensuring monthly and annual revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Event Coordination Support: Partner with the Food & Beverage and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and group bookings.
- Solicitation: Actively solicit and uncover new business opportunities that align with the hotel's business model, ensuring a consistent and proactive approach to pipeline growth.
- Brand Representation: Represent Hotel Greystone at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and brand awareness.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback.
- Administrative Duties: Manage hotel systems (Tripleseat, Stay N Touch, Hotel Planner, CVENT), maintain the monthly and yearly sales calendar, and create detailed group resumes to ensure smooth coordination and communication between all departments.
What you will need:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably within the luxury or boutique segment.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Miami Beach market and hospitality trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Tripleseat software; familiarity with hotel property management systems Stay N Touch is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel off-site as required.

Salary Range:
$80,000 per year; this range may vary depending on experience, specific responsibilities, and the properties’ standards. Position may be eligible for additional benefits including parking, monthly phone stipend, and dry-cleaning.
