About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Hotel Greystone. Reporting directly to the General Manager and VP of Sales, the Senior Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving group revenue, building strong client relationships, and positioning Hotel Greystone as the premier boutique hotel in Miami Beach. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive salary, along with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
What You Will Do:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Partner with the VP of Sales to develop and implement strategic initiatives that optimize revenue across key segments, including medium to large groups (11 rooms or more), corporate accounts, and meetings and events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, event planners, and corporate accounts through proactive engagement, including off-site visits and on-property site tours, to drive repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Revenue Growth & Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.
- Customized Proposal Development: Craft and present compelling sales proposals and tailored presentations that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Event Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with the Food & Beverage and Operations teams to ensure the flawless execution of group bookings and events, delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Proactive Sales & Lead Generation: Actively solicit new business opportunities that align with the hotel's positioning, maintaining a dynamic and well-managed sales pipeline.
- Brand Representation & Networking: Represent Hotel Greystone at industry events, trade shows, and networking engagements to enhance brand awareness and cultivate business relationships.
- Performance Reporting: Provide timely and insightful updates to the General Manager and VP of Sales on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Sales Operations & Administration: Manage key hotel sales systems (Tripleseat, StayNTouch, Hotel Planner, CVENT), oversee the monthly and annual sales calendar, and prepare comprehensive group resumes to facilitate seamless interdepartmental coordination.
What you will need:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably within the luxury or boutique segment.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Out of the box thinking; the ability to uncover creative measures to capture new business.
- Strong understanding of the Miami Beach market and hospitality trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Tripleseat software; familiarity with hotel property management systems Stay N Touch is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel off-site as required.

Salary Range:
$95,000 per year; this range may vary depending on experience, specific responsibilities, and the properties’ standards. Position may be eligible for additional benefits including parking, monthly phone stipend, and dry-cleaning.
