Concrete Cutting Operator

Salt Lake Cement Cutting’s team of 25 employees is headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT and has been maintaining quality and building reputation since 1983. Most of our operators have been with us for multiple decades with the average tenure being at least 16 years. As an operator at Salt Lake Cement Cutting you will work hand in hand with senior leadership to bring the highest quality of work to some of Utah’s top general contractors. Our ideal candidate has outstanding business acumen, is mechanically inclined, possesses intense curiosity, strong work ethic, communication skills, and the ability to identity an unsafe environment. The operator will be a self-starter, comfortable with heights, and be willing to work long hours while paying careful attention to detail. Responsibilities:

· Safety of yourself and those around you

· Daily truck inspections/walkarounds

· Operate heavy machinery including wall saws, hand saws, flat saws, wire saws, core drills

· Perform general maintenance of construction equipment, vehicles, and tools

· Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew(s)

· Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs. and navigate construction equipment, vehicles, and tools

Qualifications:

· General construction experience and knowledge preferred

· Pass pre-employment and random drug screening

· Pass pre-employment background check

· Valid unrestricted driver’s license with good driving history

· Availability to work days, nights, limited weekends, and out of town

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must have steel toe work boots

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
