- Candidates who have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education and meet all other qualifications for this position can be placed as an Hourly Teacher, which is paid on Salary Schedule 20 / G / 01 with a wage of $40.61 per hour. Candidates with an associate's degree or whom do not provide official transcripts of their higher education degree will be placed as an Hourly Instructor, which is paid on Salary Schedule 86 / T / 01 with a wage of $22.00 per hour.

JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nurse Assistant instructor plans and provides instruction based on State, District, and school curricula and requirements. Instructors will help to ensure that students meet the State of Utah Nursing Assistant certification requirements. Instructors will supervise clinicals at at hospitals or other healthcare settings.
This position reports to the Director of Career and Technical Education.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands : some lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and / or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
