JOB SUMMARY
The Office Assistant provides clerical support to assigned personnel, maintains department records, and responds to a variety of inquiries.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
All positions require selected candidates to be fingerprinted and successfully pass a criminal background check. Additional minimum required qualifications for this position are :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced using data-based software
- Speak, read, write, and present professionally, analyze, and interpret English written and verbal communications
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., phone, copier, scanner, fax machines, etc.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands : some lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 30 pounds, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 10% walking, and 30% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
