What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Day Event, Communications Staff position at Salt Lake Community College?
Salt Lake Community College Athletic Department is seeking part-time hourly game day staff to fill the following positions: Web stream play-by-play, Web stream color analyst. These positions are seasonal and staff are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Understanding of the rules of volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball and cheer.
- Availability to work all home games during an athletic season including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Multi-task, work under pressure, and remain calm in all situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Compliance with institutional, conference and national governing regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience relevant to position you are applying for
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and general understanding of athletic events
- Motivated, self-starter with professional approach to game days
- Ability to take feedback and direction
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to high professional standards
- Schedule outside normal business hours. This position requires an irregular work schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
