Provide and maintain a professional working atmosphere in the assigned areas within the Division of Natural Sciences and Engineering, including the Chemistry Department and the Chemistry Labs, while supporting and assisting the department Administrative Assistants, staff, and faculty.

- High School Diploma.
- Recent or current SLCC student with good academic standing.
- Experience in courses or applications targeted for work, such as experience in student chemistry labs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience in courses or applications targeted for work, such as experience in a student chemistry lab.
Ability to follow instructions related to chemical mixing for preparing student chemistry labs.
Ability to work with diverse populations including those with disabilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of general office procedures and methods including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Canvas.
Ability to set priorities, organize tasks and take initiative within established parameters.
Ability to learn and to operate assigned equipment.
Maintain professional and positive attitude, with the ability to grow, adapt, and take direction and work independently as necessary.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with diverse populations including those with disabilities.
