Definition: Under the general supervision of the Information Technology (IT) Department s PeopleSoft Technical Supervisor, the PeopleSoft Developer II designs, codes, tests, documents, and maintains high-quality modifications to the PeopleSoft Financials and HR applications in support of the SRPMIC general business. This role assists the PeopleSoft Division in establishing standards and techniques for improving application development processes and monitors those processes to ensure compliance. The Developer identifies and utilizes software development best practices to meet internal and external customer requirements, maximizing the productivity of the project team and the maintainability of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise (PS) applications. The PeopleSoft Developer II works with the Senior PeopleSoft Developer and PeopleSoft Technical Supervisor on project activities such as application upgrades, payroll tax updates, and the implementation of new PS modules and functionalities. This job class is treated as FLSA Exempt.
Distinguishing Features: The PeopleSoft Developer II is distinguished from the PeopleSoft Developer I by an increased level of responsibility in PS application development and a higher degree of accountability regarding the elevation and resolution of customer support problems related to the PS Financials and HR applications. The PeopleSoft Developer II also assists the Senior PeopleSoft Developer and PeopleSoft Technical Supervisor in mentoring the PeopleSoft Developer I staff.

2.Helps the Senior PeopleSoft Developer and PeopleSoft Technical Supervisor, mentor the PeopleSoft Developer I job class employees. 3.Acts as the PeopleSoft Development group s Level II customer support by assisting with, and resolving, customer-reported problems with the PS Financials and HR applications including, but not limited to, code bugs, deployment, user access, security and maintenance. 4.Establishes and adheres to PS and IT Department security policies and procedures.
5.Assists the PeopleSoft Technical Supervisor with the technical direction for the PS Financials and HR support team including setting priorities, coordinating tasks and reporting of team activities.
6.Assists with analyzing technical issues with the senior members of the IT PS Support team. 7.Assists with the definition, implementation and maintenance of the PS development and production architecture and environments. 8.Works cooperatively with PS Support team to schedule tasks and complete duties. 9.Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the PeopleSoft Technical Supervisor, PeopleSoft Manager, Assistant IT Director (Applications) or Chief Information Officer.

- Collaborates with PeopleSoft Analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Works with other developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Creates documentation and provides training to end-users as necessary.
- Provides overall production support for the PS Financials and HR applications, including but not limited to troubleshooting, user interaction, vendor support, documentation, and program coding.
- Performs development functions that include the creation of custom reports, table/view creation, user/security management, PeopleCode design, stored procedure development, user-defined rule creation, and other duties as assigned.
- Assists in developing solutions while working with the PS Finance and HR support team on data interfaces, integration broker configuration, and other general customization issues.
- Stays current with emerging trends and technologies related to PeopleSoft development.

- Updates SRPMIC data management system security policies as new best practices emerge and are adopted by the computer network.

- Provides daily and/or weekly project status updates.

- Knowledge of PeopleSoft PeopleTools including Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Application Messaging, Component Interface and PeopleSoft Query.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Application Messaging SOAP and REST using XML and JSON.
- Knowledge of database design best practices, performance tuning and data normalization rules.
- Knowledge of general application integration principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, Billing, Asset Management, eProcurement, Commitment Control, Project Costing, Purchasing, Supplier Administration.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR modules such as Core HR, Payroll for North America, Position Management, Time and Labor, Base Benefits and eBenefits.
- Specific Knowledge of PeopleTools FLUID UI elements, such as Navigation, Navigation Collections, Tiles, Activity Guides, and FLUID Approvals.
- Knowledge of PeopleTools capabilities for meeting functional requirements without application customization such as Page and Field Configurator, Event Mapping, Related Actions and Related Content, Drop Zone development and Page Composer.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server version 2016 or higher.
- Knowledge and basic familiarity with functionality provided within Oracle/PeopleSoft Finance and HR (version 9.2, PeopleTools 8.59 or later).
- Knowledge of SRPMIC Tribal Government standard operating systems software including Windows, and other Microsoft products.
- Skill working with full stack PeopleTools development at version 8.59 or later, in both a project implementation and a production support role.
- Skill working with PeopleSoft Application Designer and Component Interface as well as database design and performance tuning.
- Skill packaging, documenting, and migrating PeopleTools development projects, including Application Designer projects, Data Migration Workbench projects, Data Mover scripts and data files, SQL Conversion scripts, and manual instructions.
- Skill documenting technical artifacts in a well formatted and thorough manner using Microsoft Office tools.
- Skill testing at various levels such as Unit, UAT, and project System testing, including designing test cycles, data, and test automation using PeopleSoft Test Framework.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: Three (3) years of PeopleSoft Development experience is required with demonstrated successful experience with as many of the following as possible is preferred:

- Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft Development tools (including PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, Application Messaging and Query).
- Experience with leveraging PeopleTools and application tools and frameworks for avoiding base level customizations to delivered logic and processing (including but not limited to Page and Field Configurator, Drop Zones, AWE process definition configurations, Event Mapping, etc.).
- Experience with Gideon Taylor eForms Framework preferred but not required.
Special Requirements:
- May be required to work after normal business hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- May be required to complete and Salt River Police Department (SRPD) background investigation and polygraph examination.
- May be required to receive and maintain a Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Community Regulatory License and State Certification (ADOG).
