Summary
Provides accurate location of underground electric, water, communications and gas facilities for internal and external, customers. Provides accurate documentation of locates in compliance with state laws.
What You'll Do
Protect SRP facilities by locating SRP underground electric, water communications, gas, and reclaimed water facilities in a safe / efficient manner as per SRP policies and insuring compliance with Arizona State laws.
Operate and maintain all assigned locating equipment.
Analyze and apply SRP electric, water, communication, and groundwater construction prints and schematics.
Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and lawful manner using SRP safety programs.
Provide and maintain effective communication with internal / external customers resolving minor disputes.
Investigate excavation damage to SRP facilities and provide detailed reports of findings.
Respond to emergency call-out and work overtime as required.
Provide accurate data entry and documentation of all locates.
Process locate requests using a laptop computer and wireless communications.

Experience
Testing and Certifications
Must possess the appropriate valid Arizona driver's license.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
