Delivery Driver (Catering)YOU'RE A GREAT MATCH FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU:
**This isn’t your typical delivery driver position like DoorDash/Uber Eats!

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic delivery driver with a passion for food, hospitality, multi-tasking and a positive upbeat attitude!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food orders from Salt Smoke restaurants to customers' locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, providing excellent customer service, and following all traffic laws and safety protocols. This position is also expected to load orders, handle payments upon delivery when necessary, and ensure the quality and temperature of the food are maintained throughout the delivery process.
- Ensure food is delivered on time, adhering to the estimated delivery windows.
- Drive safely while ensuring food remains intact and at the correct temperature.
- Verify orders before leaving the restaurant to ensure all items are correct and complete.
- Communicate professionally with customers, confirming delivery details and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition and ensure it's stocked with necessary delivery supplies (e.g., insulated bags, delivery paperwork, gloves).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Ability to carry and lift up to 50-80 lbs for large portions of shifts.
- Ability to comply with food safety and transport procedures.
- Ability to be organized and capable of multi-tasking with efficiency.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to go up and down stairs.
- Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must hold a valid state driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Must have auto insurance with preferred limits of liability.
