Overview:

Salt Wood Kitchen and Oysterette is the premier culinary destination in Monterey. As a Lead Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across our full-service dining room, lively bar and lounge, and al fresco dining patio.

We are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to lead our beverage team and oversee daily operations. If you have a passion for fine food, drinks, and impeccable service, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to company standards and local health regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize liquor stock to minimize waste and control costs
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that encourages teamwork and open communication

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
