What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Reporting Manager position at Salt?
Salt is excited to collaborate once again with one a Globally Recognised Sportswear Giant as they seek to hire a Product Data Reporting Manager to support their team on an asap starting, (minimum) 6 month contract role. In this role, you will focus on improving data readiness and quality for the team.
This role will be largely remote operating but will require occassional in-house visits to HQ's based across the US so US residents will only be considered for this role.
Role Requirements:
- Expertly provide expertise on system issues that may effect the timely data entry or involve incorrect implementation of system rules.
- Deliver high-quality reporting and analysis using Excel and Power BI.
- Implement business rules related to product data attributes within reports and systems.
- Collaborate with the various Business Units and Product Managers to clarify requirements.
- Develop Power BI reporting solutions to monitor data quality and provide insights to Product Managers when data quality issues arise.
- Support in testing new features in Product Brief and Power BI and provide relevant feedback on their impact on data quality as and when required.
- Create Power BI reports for seasonal milestones.
- Effectively update their Data Learning App with the latest data based on input from technical counterparts and business stakeholders on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Validate reference data requests from Business Units using your expertise and provide professional guidance on implementing the data within the internal system.
- Ensure all documentation, guidelines, and reports are submitted for approval in a timely fashion and meeting set deadlines.
