Job Description: We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher to join our culinary team at Salted Mill. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring all kitchen utensils, dishes, and cookware are cleaned and sanitized efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Operate dishwashing equipment according to safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Remove trash and recycling regularly and dispose of it in the designated areas.
- Assist with kitchen organization, including storing clean dishes and equipment in their proper places.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs for dishwashing equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge in kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
