Job Description:
We are seeking a warm and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our team at Salted Mill. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience and ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Maintain an organized and clean front-of-house area, including the host/hostess stand.
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure optimal seating flow and guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant and its services.
- Assist with coordinating the waitlist and managing guest expectations.
- Communicate with servers and other staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge in hospitality and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $16.28-$18.00 Hourly | DOE Plus, Tips
