The Role:
As a fast-growing company with global operations, the purpose of this hands-on role is to support global FP&A activities such as long-range planning, AOP, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Key responsibilities include supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with business unit finance teams to establish plans and assumptions for achieving business targets
- The successful candidate will perform the development of financial plans that align with Saluda's strategic goals, including the analysis of commercial plans and business drivers
- This role will partner with the business to develop and deliver on their financial goals, analyze trends and variances, conduct scenario analysis, and recommend contingency plans to navigate market changes
- It will support and continuously develop the long-term planning model ensuring alignment with the strategic plan and business objectives
- The FP&A Analyst will enable the delivery of accurate monthly results, forecast and budget pack as well as oversight and distribution of action-oriented KPI dashboards
- This role will lead the development and optimization of KPI dashboards, automating data and reporting, and efforts to continuously improve the financial performance management processes
- Proactively ensure month-end processes are relevant, accurate, and timely
- Collaborate with the global financial accounting team to maintain an effective internal control environment, and ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with financial policies and protocols
- This role will assess and make recommendations with respect to FP&A information systems to ensure they support the finance team's needs and will coordinate the process of defining, analyzing, and solving problems related to those systems
- It will also manage external vendor relationships for system functionality design and implementation

Essential Requirements:
- Proven FP&A experience in complex operating environments, including delivery of budgets/forecasts, management reports, month end and analytics
- 5 years experience in a multinational organization
- Solid knowledge of sales, commercial and market model support and R&D portfolio management
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills, attention to detail and advanced financial modelling
- Extensive experience BI (Workday Analytics, Power BI, or similar) and ERPs (eg QAD or similar)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability to work in high performing teams
- Experience in a process improvement methodology, for example Lean or Six Sigma
- Good working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Word
