Reporting to the Director of New Product Introduction & Process Excellence, the primary role of this position is to support New Product Development and Commercial Products by providing ownership of customer-facing labeling. This role will work with a broader team of Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory to oversee development and analysis of package/labeling products and materials.
Responsibilities:
- This individual will be responsible for the design and co-ordination of labeling activities for New Products and Sustaining Operations
- This will include product labels, IFU’s (Instructions for Use), packaging specifications
- Creation, change and control of all labeling components to support Product Development and Sustaining Engineering
- Ensure all labeling components meet Saluda requirements including conformance all Country specific requirements
- Liaise with vendors on specifications for package and label components
- Communicate to Management on the progress of labeling projects
- Communicate with various departments within Saluda on labeling related projects
- Works with external packaging engineering teams and other functions to define and execute implementation plans for new label/IFU content
- Liaise with various translation companies for the translation of text used in all labeling and packaging components
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Project Management Experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information across multiple functions, create buy-in from stakeholders, and negotiate alignment productively
- Experience in medical device packaging/labeling and building engineering change orders
- Ability to comprehend process related quality documents (e.g. work instructions, procedures, standards, inspection plans, etc.)
