Paint Prepper

Job Description

The Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing parts for the painting process. This includes tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming surfaces to ensure they are ready for a high-quality paint job. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and experience in the process of painting and preparation.

Must have experience in paint prepping to apply (automotive or aviation experience)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare aircraft or parts for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming
- Buff and polish surfaces to ensure a smooth finish
- Use power tools and other equipment to remove old paint and rust
- Collaborate with the paint team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Paint Prepper or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to use power tools and other equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Valid driver's license and own transportation

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (Monday – Friday 6 am – 2:30pm)
• Day shift
• Overtime

Work Location: Boulder City Airport

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
