Position/Title: Operational Technology Analyst

Salary: $86,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Overview:
We are looking for a highly capable Operational Data Analyst to ensure that our corporation capitalizes on the benefits offered by the Salesforce CRM system. In this role, you will conduct data analysis tasks, which may include data cleaning, data transformation, data modeling, and data visualization. Your regular duties will consist of generating reports and creating visualizations to present data analysis findings, to include identifying trends and process improvements based on analytic insights. This includes organizing and formatting data in a clear and concise manner, creating reports, dashboards, and summarizing key findings for presentation to stakeholders.
General
This is a full-time FLSA exempt position, that will report to the Director of Operational Technology and will work closely with Operations leadership, IT, and other Department Heads.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions, and goals. Bring structure to business requests, translate requirements into an analytical project approach, and complete analyses.
· Learn and understand all aspects of the business process, key performance drivers, and operational report metrics.
· Gain expert knowledge of the operational systems and utilization within the business process
· Conduct data quality and gap analysis, develop a maturity plan and collaborate with data source owners on data sets
· Build new dashboards and reports to meet the needs of the business; work with stakeholders to gather all appropriate requirements to determine an appropriate plan of action for completion.
· Perform analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
· Serve as a primary contact with users to obtain all information relevant to the project at hand; develop a comprehensive awareness of the informational requirements and data availability.
· Performs a range of services related to the operation and use of the Salesforce database, including data mining, creation, query formulation, and execution of tasks in support of analysis driven by integrated applications and systems.
· Provide analysis, definition and direction in support of the project activities, troubleshooting report discrepancies by reviewing mapping and requirements
· Gather and document business requirements, formulate use cases, track requirements, provide status and ensure quality of solution throughout the project
· Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
· Lead the development of protocols to verify the accuracy of analytic output and ensure the accuracy of assigned tasks and analytic output.
· Prepare and present reports on progress, performance, and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
· Use performance data to inform strategic adjustments and continuous improvement efforts.
· Perform special projects and other operations related assignments as requested.
Qualifications:
· A bachelor's degree in computer science would be advantageous.
· Proficient in Microsoft suite applications
· Proficient with CRM applications (Salesforce specific is a plus)
· Certified ) analyzing data (compiling, analyzing, projecting/forecasting trends, providing solutions).
· Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
· Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification preferred.
