Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback or busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with the catering team during events or banquets, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Help with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Experience in bartending or banquet services is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
