Salary and Grade: Negotiable depending on education and experience; 71 Non-Exempt

Certified TEC I and TEC II required. Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education a plus. 2 years of experience preferred. Must be able to obtain clearances required by the Joseph R. Biden III and the Child Protection Act. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities
- To provide the children with a safe loving and nurturing environment.
- To meet the children's needs in areas of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
- To prepare with the director an appropriate classroom curriculum and weekly plans sheets to carry out the established goals.
- To keep attendance records for the classroom.
- To carry out appropriate and positive discipline.
- To help build and function as part of a supportive team.
- To maintain a room arrangement that is safe, inviting, interesting and stimulating.
- To attend weekly staff meetings
