We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Tech to join our team at Salvation Army U.S.
About the Role:
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and support janitorial functions of our facility.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all building facilities and grounds to ensure optimal condition.
- Monitor and maintain electrical, security, communication, and ventilation systems for the building.
- Support upkeep and improvement of our facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our employees and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and facilities to prevent damage and optimize performance.
- Assist in minor repairs and replacements of broken or worn-out equipment and fixtures.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, repair, or custodial work.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights as necessary.
