The Garden Place Hotel is hiring a Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional service throughout the hotel. A Hotel Front Desk Agent is a professional who is responsible for greeting guests efficiently and courteously. As the first face many see upon arrival, the Hotel Front Desk Agent checks guests in and out of their rooms, distributes room keys, answers questions, and processes payments for hotel services.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome all guests who come into the hotel with a friendly demeanor and a smile.
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
- Answer phones promptly to help current guests and to provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Register guests by collecting necessary information, such as contact details, exact dates of their stay, and payment.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for event attendees, like wedding guests.
- Respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver items up to rooms during times when housekeeping staff is not available.
- Help out as a backup shuttle driver, as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness behind the desk area and in the lobby.
- Communicate with other desk shifts and departments for any updates during the day.
- Must have a customer service attitude with excellent communication and organizational skills.
