Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment. Working under minimal supervision, the technologist will collaborate with licensed physicians to assist in diagnosing and treating patients across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. This role requires a strong focus on delivering high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing radiopharmaceuticals, to obtain diagnostic and therapeutic results.
- Assist healthcare practitioners in operating radiation detection equipment to support patient care.
- Order, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals through injection, ingestion, or inhalation.
- Safely identify, handle, and manage radioactive substances in compliance with established safety protocols.
- Process and store imaging results, ensuring proper documentation and accurate recordkeeping.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards in all procedures.
