Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with a strong background in luxury fashion, beauty, or personal care . This strategic role is key to driving growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development , a deep understanding of the luxury consumer landscape , and a passion for building lasting relationships with high-profile brands, influencers, retailers, and industry stakeholders .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities , including partnerships, joint ventures, and market expansions within the luxury fashion, beauty, and personal care sectors .
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase market share, revenue, and brand presence across various luxury categories.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to pinpoint emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive opportunities within the luxury fashion and beauty space.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with key partners, including luxury brands, high-end retailers, beauty influencers, and resellers .
  • Cultivate strategic alliances that align with the company's goals, driving mutual growth and positioning the company as a leader in the luxury market .
  • Negotiate terms and manage ongoing relationships to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Identify new geographic and demographic markets with high potential for expansion, particularly within high-net-worth consumer segments .
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to tailor offerings and campaigns to meet the needs of new and existing markets.
  • Guide market entry strategies for launching new product categories or expanding into emerging regions.
  • Stay ahead of trends in luxury fashion, beauty, and personal care , providing insights that inform business development strategies.
  • Work with product teams to ensure offerings align with customer demand for exclusive collections, limited-edition releases, and influencer-driven trends .
  • Drive business growth through innovative partnerships, client acquisition, and market development initiatives .
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for business development activities, consistently tracking results and adjusting strategies for optimal success.
  • Support product launches and marketing campaigns by ensuring strong partner and influencer involvement to increase visibility and sales.
  • Regularly report on business development activities, market trends, and partnership performance .
  • Use data and insights to forecast business potential, identify risks, and track overall market growth .

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in business development, account management, or partnership strategy , preferably within luxury fashion, beauty, or personal care .
  • Proven track record in identifying and cultivating partnerships, negotiating contracts, and driving business growth .
  • Experience in working with luxury brands, retailers, influencers, and other key industry players .
  • Strong understanding of the luxury fashion and beauty markets , including emerging trends, consumer behavior, and influencer-driven sales.
  • Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape , with experience navigating high-end consumer segments and e-commerce channels .
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities with high-profile stakeholders in the luxury sector.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and securing long-term strategic partnerships .
  • Strong strategic mindset , with the ability to identify new business opportunities, create actionable plans, and lead cross-functional teams to execution .
  • Skilled in market analysis, trend forecasting, and competitor analysis .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and drive change.
  • Proven success in negotiating complex business deals with high-profile clients and partners.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership experience , including mentoring and supporting junior team members, is a plus.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, sales management platforms, and analytics software to track business development activities and performance.
