Headquartered in Amityville, Long Island, NY, we are looking to expand our Engineering team with a skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer . This role will focus on developing software and firmware for ARM-based microprocessors used in high-stakes security solutions, including fire and burglary alarms, access control, and home automation systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise embedded software systems to meet project specifications and design requirements.
- Collaborate with development and marketing teams to outline features, specifications, and performance targets, creating efficient software architecture and firmware.
- Develop and code firmware for cutting-edge security products using C.
- Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and implement improvements iteratively, ensuring robustness and strong performance.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in embedded software and adopt new technologies as appropriate.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation supporting software development processes.
