Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to patients with mental health conditions. Your expertise and empathy will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects
- Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation

Qualifications
- Valid nursing license in the state of Georgia
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN or ASN)
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, treatments, and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
