• Responsible for establishing binding quotations for special solutions and their risk assessment for our products, stretch blow molding and coating machinery and the relevant packaging solutions.
• Technical contact for project managers, regional KHS organization, service, and customers.
• Translating the customer specific requirements into technical functional descriptions.
• Providing technical detail knowhow on machine and packaging solution, to understand if specific customer requirements can be realized.
• Assisting sales during the project offer clarification.
• Support sales activities within North and South America
• Perform KHS internal product trainings.
• Supporting KHS (regional) project management in order clarification and required product detail, per customer specific questions.
• With input from engineering, manufacturing, procurement and planning, provide detailed offering positions, not available in ECOS, to complete the specific customer offer requirement.
• Performing Technical Risk Assessment in a PRiP Process
• Supply feedback from customers as input for product development.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• Knowledge through education (engineering degree) or business experience (5 yrs minimum) in plastic processing techniques
• Basic engineering knowledge of mechanics, electrics and pneumatics.
• Good communication skills
• Analytical mind set, oriented to practical problem-solving
• At least three years’ experience in engineering processing equipment in a food or beverage packaging/processing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mastery of MS Office applications
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency within reasonable period of time in KHS USA ERP system
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Valid Passport and driver’s license are required.
