Description

This fabricates wooden crates and skids to ship final product. and use of various hand tools. The person needs to be able to follow instructions from supervisor and work at an acceptable pace while assembling a quality product. This position is responsible for ensuring production goals and quality standards are met on a continual basis from one product to the next.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Dependable and on time (Work Schedule is Monday - Thursday 6:30AM - 5:00PM and Friday 6:30AM - 3:00PM - with a 30 minute lunch Mon - Thurs and 1 hour lunch on Friday).
• Assemble crates for shipping product at Company standards
• Work safely and follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Maintain a clean work area.
• Demonstrate a familiarity with hand tools, such as drill, nail gun and hand saw.
• Follows priority processes and maintains records as needed
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and extra hours when needed

Skills Required:

• Able to read and write
• Able to follow instructions
• Demonstrate the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 increments
• Punctual/Dependable in regard to attendance and work productivity

Environment & Working Conditions:

• Able to endure climate changes (hot and cold)

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Able to bend, stoop, and climb
• Able to work while standing on concrete for up to 12 hours a day
