Bachelor’s degree in related field. One year of experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Performs semi-complex administrative program work for the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP).
Primary Responsibilities
Collects, analyzes, and interprets quantitative and qualitative data related to Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC) grant programs and initiatives. Develops and maintains dashboards and reports to track program performance metrics. Ensures all TMAC activities comply with federal and state regulations. Collaborates with manufacturing clients, TMAC staff, and others to assess needs and develop tailored solutions. Creates dossiers to customize proposals to clientele needs. Serves as the primary point contact to sustain collaborations and organize tasks to fulfill contractual obligations. Facilitates workshops and training sessions to educate clients about program offerings and benefits. Designs and implements evaluation methodologies to assess the impact of TMAC programs on client performance and growth. Identifies trends and insights to recommend program enhancements. Conducts research on best practices and emerging trends in manufacturing assistance and workforce development. Contributes to the development of new program initiatives and services based on research findings. Creates comprehensive reports summarizing program activities and outcomes for internal and external partners. Documents processes and procedures for program operations to ensure consistency and quality. Participates in continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for operational efficiencies within TMAC programs. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance program effectiveness. Provides technical assistance and support to clients in utilizing TMAC resources and tools. Develops training materials and resources to enhance client understanding of program offerings. Attends and participates in group and project meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must understand and be capable of providing high quality customer service. General understanding of university operations. Capable of producing reports of program activities. Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to supervise business functions. Communicates with other university departments, personnel, and other agencies.
Up to 100% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
